Terri-Karelle Griffith - Miss Jamaica World 2005

TVJ has been featuring “Our Jamaican Girl”, Terri-Karelle Griffith, Miss Jamaica World and I must admit, the more you see of her the more you can’t help but love her. My granny would say, “What a sweet, boonoonunus girl” and let me tell you, that says is all. Terri describes herself as bubbly, warm and resourceful and from what we have been seeing of her on the program she forgot intelligent, elegant, eloquent, witty and down to earth.

Follow up:

For those of you who have not been following, Terri-Karelle Griffith was born under the sign of Aries on April 19, 1982. She hails from Campion College. After graduating in 2000 she received a scholarship to attend Las Villas Central University in Cuba where she is studying to be a veterinary surgeon. (I should add she is also, bright) She hopes to open an animal shelter one day. Even as a youngster Terri volunteered as a Veterinary Assistant at the Jamaica Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (JSPCA). She also volunteered as a Peer Counselor at the Holly Cross Youth Fellowship. (One more adjective to add, caring). Her favourite food is oxtail and rice and peas (typical Jamaican). Her other passions is Dancing. She was the youngest to be inducted in a Jamaican Dance Company. (Last one, talented).
Terri is a natural. Not only is she a natural beauty on the outside but also on the inside. I think that was the first thing I noticed about her in the Miss Jamaica World pageant. Once she took the stage her personally literally shone through. She was also voted most congenial by all the other contestant. As the saying goes, “It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice”.
This Saturday December 10, 2005 Terri will represent Jamaica in the Miss World 2005 in Sanya, China. Based on reports from Sanya Terri is doing us proud and is already on the list of favourites for this year’s competition. Word on the streets of Jamaica, is that Jamaicans are proud to have her represent us. What we all need to do now is get on line and vote for Terri-Karelle Griffith for Miss World 2005.

The Small Sandal Shop

A married couple was on holiday in Jamaica. They were touring around the marketplace looking at the goods when they passed this small sandal shop.

From inside they heard the shopkeeper with a Jamaican accent say, "You!

Foreigners! Come in, come into my humble shop."

So the married couple walked in.

The Jamaican said to them, "I have some special sandals I think you would be interested in. They make you wild at sex."

Well, the wife was really interested in buying the sandals after what the man claimed, but her husband felt he really didn't need them, being the sex god he was.

The husband asked the man, "How could sandals make you into a sex freak?"

The Jamaican replied, "Just try them on."

Well, the husband, after some badgering from his wife, finally gave in, and tried them on. As soon as he slipped them onto his feet, he got this wild look in his eyes, something his wife hadn't seen in many years!

In the blink of an eye, the husband grabbed the Jamaican, bent him

violently over a table, yanked down his pants, ripped down his own pants, and grabbed a firm hold of the Jamaican's hips.

The Jamaican then began screaming; "YOU GOT THEM ON THE WRONG FEET!!!"
