Stupid People

Ok, maybe the title of my post has been harsh, but its what is running through my head at the moment. I am utterly frustrated. Frustrated with what? with the stupidity that seems to reign about our country today. I always used to say to myself that I'd never leave Jamaica... Jamaica is the best... Jamaica is blessed. But no I think i would have to withdraw. The events of today have led me to realize that there will possibly be no end to this during the current or my generation or even the next generation.
Before I start to ramble on about things I will state why I say stupid people... I will try to keep this free of the numerous expletives running through my mind.

Follow up:

First lets start with the head of the Stupid People. Bruce Golding.
This dimwit, decided that he the leader of the opposition is going to "peacefully demonstrate" on this day to let the government know that they need to lower the prices of everything. Really now dimwit did you really expect the demonstration to go peacefully? No i am sure u didnt, but instead of allowing the country to go on operating as normal, a move which would've possibly helped the economy, you halt production for a day, now we possibly wont make all the export quota's that we were slated to make and will become even poorer than before and even worst you embarrass the country while they were having talks with other heads of government including venezuela's president to try to help ease off some of the prices off the country. I was never really politically biased before, but one thing is for sure, for the next election I will not be voting for a dimwit to run my country, I would rather vote for somebody who at least shows some level of literacy.

The next level of stupid people goes out to the various sections of the Opposition, who were out there supporting people in their "peaceful demonstration", even as they started mounting road blocks. The same people who also ran away at the sight of the police and also quarrelled with the police that they are "taking away their right to protest". No all you 2nd level dimwits!! you have the right to protest as long as it doesnt stop everybody else from going about their daily activities. I hoped that these people would've been arrested along with the mounters of the road blocks and placed in prison where they belong, but alas that will never happen. I would also like to point out a certain person who on the cvm news said that tomorrow the people of portmore will continue to mount road blocks on the causeway, YES HE DID SAY THAT THEY WILL CONTINUE TO "MOUNT THEIR PROTESTS" ON THE CAUSEWAY TOMORROW... WHY WASN'T HE ARRESSTED?!?!

Moving on to the 3rd level dimwits, although these people arent necessarily dimwits, they were more just brainwashed. But yes I am referring to you people who actually mounted road blocks today. My first question is. Dont you people have anything better to do? Instead of bawling about government this government that, why dont you try finding a job? oh wait im sorry the government must find you a job. Just a reminder, THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT YOUR PARENTS AND YOU ARE NOT 5 YEAR OLDS. If the problem is extreme such as caused by Ivan, then sure you can go to the government, but for finding jobs, do it yourself, or better yet why not create a job? I am sure you can save the thousands of dollars you spend weekly to go to passa passa wednesday and jiggy fridays and other assorted sesssions and actually put it toward some good use. No wait thats too hard for you to do. You would rather lie down in your house every day and then when you run out of money bawl to the government that you want a job, when even if you get the job you are still gonna be lazy at work, then get fired because you swear that you dont have to do work to get money. YOU ALL NEED A REALITY CHECK.

I could go on and on you know, but if you have read this, I am sure you realize my frustration and I dont think I need to go any further. I just wish that for the state of this country, this Jamaica that I really love from the bottom of my heart, people will think and realize that if they want to go somewhere it starts with them. Bless up

Bruk Pocket Jamaican

"Recently, this Jamaican won the 10 million special lottery for a dollar. As soon as the office of the Lottery Corporation was open on the following day, he was there to collect his winnings.

Graciously, he presented his winning ticket to the clerk and in his best English uttered his request "Me cum fi collect the 10 millian dallars, si me ticket ya".

After reviewing and checking the ticket with his manager, the clerk returned and requested on how he would like his payments. The Jamaican replied "Mi wan all a de moni now". "Unfortunately, Sir" the nervous clerk responded, "The procedures are that we can only give you one million now and the balance equally over the next 20 years".

Furious and agitated, the Jamaican asked for the manager, who re-iterated "Sir, my assistant is correct, it is the regulation of the corporation that we initially pay you one million dollars now with the balance paid to you equally over the next 20 years".

Outraged, the Jamaican slammed his hand on the desk and shouted in anger, "Oonu tek me fi idiat, me wan all a de moni now or oonu gi me bak me rass dallar!!"
